This post shows two fictional wargames scenarios that are set around a campaign that did indeed take place in the autumn of 1495.

Whilst the scenarios are fictional the initial background under the "Poynings in Ireland" heading is an account of what actually happened and the Hall quote is from Hall's Chronicle, a contemporary source. How reliable my summary of the campaign is along with Hall's quote - who knows.Olihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06796318659076787601noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6819465537498177551.post-71683863179252627222021-09-25T11:24:08.938-07:002021-09-25T11:24:08.938-07:00Is this based off of actual history or is it just ...Is this based off of actual history or is it just war games? It is a real gold mine for small battles and skirmishes. Stuarts terrain is perfect for the setting.Olihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06796318659076787601noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6819465537498177551.post-60704927675180954442021-09-24T01:11:55.280-07:002021-09-24T01:11:55.280-07:00Splendid looking pair of games!
